A flexo print is achieved by creating a mirror of the required image. The plate is a rubber or polymer material. A measured amount of ink is deposited upon the surface of the printing plate (or printing cylinder) using an anilox transfer roller.The print surface then rotates transferring the ink to the bag material producing the final image. The plate charges you pay are directly proportional to the size of your image.
On Short Run Quantities, the imprinting process is known as post-printing. This process is where the imprinting takes place after the bag has already been constructed. Some imprinting restrictions may apply due to this process. For multi-color designs, the artwork must have a 1/4″ registration space between each color.
